LEKA Lightweight Tiled Conservatory Roof Conversions
The LEKA Warm roof system can be installed as part of a new conservatory installation or as a replacement roof option. It features a lightweight tiled roof, constructed using high quality Metrolite or Tapco tiles. The lightweight tiles are supported by GRP rafters which are attached to the conservatory’s frame. Two layers of LEKA sheets are inserted between the rafters and the tiled roof to provide a water tight insulating layer. LEKA sheets are only a third of the weight of traditional plasterboards and can be internally skimmed for a smooth paintable finish. Cellotex insulation is added between the LEKA sheets to boost thermal efficiency levels.
LEKA System Benefits:
- Strong GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) structure
- U-values as low as 0.15 W/m²k
- Approved installers
- Building Control Approval on all installations
- 40% lighter than other solid roof systems
- Selection of authentic slate effect finishes
- 40 year system warranty
BEWARE of cheaper systems:
We advise against overclad systems, especially where the original conservatory is overclad with tiles and underclad with plasterboard. These systems are structurally unproven and will suffer with condensation, creating a danger to health as a result of mould growth and possible collapse due to overloading the structure. The end result is a space that isn’t as attractive or useable or you will be left with a conservatory that’s structurally unsound.
What our Customers say:
“Amazing experience the whole team was brilliant. I now have a picture window overlooking my garden. I have experienced a summer and winter and can confirm that the insulation keeps it cooler in the summer and snug in winter. I would happily recommend NatCon UK Ltd.”
